Rubber Classification

Rubber, is the generic terms of  polymers and chemical compounds which has  high elasticity in general. It's also one of the synthetic materials, so which kind of categories can the rubber be divided  ?1. According to the source classification, rubber can be divided into natural rubber, synthetic rubber, recycled rubber.Natural rubber comes from clover rubber tree and silver leaf rubber chrysanthemum.Synthetic rubber comes from petrochemical raw materials.Recycled rubber comes from scrap rubber products.2. According to the application of classification, rubber can be divided into general rubber, special rubber, special rubber.Special rubber also includes anti-X-ray rubber, shock-absorbing rubber, magnetic rubber, thermal rubber, conductive rubber, bio-rubber.3. According to materialized state classification, rubber can be divided into raw rubber, cooked rubber, hard rubber, rubber.4. According to the shape's classification, rubber can be divided into solid rubber, milky rubber, powder rubber, liquid rubber.

The main factors of affecting the vulcanization of rubber

What's the main factors of affecting the vulcanization of rubber? In fact ,there are mianly three factors.1. Vulcanizing ulcanizing temperature. The vulcanization temperature is the basic condition of the vulcanization reaction (crosslinking reaction) for the rubber, which directly affects the vulcanization's speed and the product's quality. The higher the vulcanization temperature are, the faster the curing rate be, the higher the productivity be, and it's easier to produce more of the low sulfur crosslinking bonds. However, the overheating temperature will lead to cross-linking key fracture, a "vulcanization back to the original" phenomenon, so that the physical and mechanical performance of vulcanized rubber are better. Usually the choice of vulcanization temperature need to consider the type of compound, the type of vulcanization system in the formula and the type of product.2.Vulcanizing  pressure, most rubber products in the vulcanization requires to impose a certain pressure. The functions of vulcanization pressure is mainly as follows:A. To prevent the rubber cause bubbles in the vulcanization process, it need to improve the air tightness of product B. The rubber need enough press to make it full-fill the cavityC. Improving the adhesion of rubber and cord fibric, also the flex resistance of the product.D. Improving the physical and mechanical properties of vulcanized rubber.Usually the pressure of the vulcanization of the selection principle: the material quality of the soft pressure should be small, the quality of the pressure should be large; thin-walled products should be small pressure, thick-walled products should be large pressure; product structure is simple pressure should be small, complex structure pressure Large; vulcanization temperature is high, the vulcanization pressure can be smaller.3.  Vulcanizing  time. At a certain temperature and pressure of molding, in order to make the plastic from plastic into elastic, and maximize the cross-linking density, the best time to optimize  physical and mechanical properties is called the vulcanization time of rubber products. Rubber vulcanizing time and rubber vulcanizing temperature is closely related to the vulcanization process. When the physical and mechanical properties of vulcanized rubber of reach or be close to the best point, the degree of vulcanization is called vulcanization or the best vulcanization. The curing time requires to achieve the positive vulcanization is called the positive vulcanizing time, and the vulcanizing temperature corresponds to a certain vulcanizing time. When the curing time is too short, the degree of curing is insufficient; When the curing time is too long, the degree of vulcanization is too high.Ningbo Lary Industry Technology Co., Ltd isa joint venture with Portugal TECNIROLO Engenharia Industrial S.A. What’s Rubber-soled Shoes

What’s Rubber-soled ShoesRubber-soled shoes give a less formal appearance. Many rubber-soled shoes are performance-oriented, for specific sports or casual occasions. Rubber-soled shoes were first designed for mountain climbing. In 1936, Italian mountain climber Vitale Bramani developed the rubber sole, influenced by the Pirelli automotive tire. The rubber sole was designed for traction. Benefits of Rubber-soled ShoesWhile less formal and traditional, rubber soles have comfort considerations. Podiatrist Arnold Ravick of the American Podiatric Medical Association states a typical men's leather sole weighs about five pounds compared to the 2-1/2 pound rubber sole. Running shoe soles weigh weigh only 10 ounces, on average. Rubber soles absorb a greater amount of shock due to their flexibility. Quote from

What is rubber?

Rubber is a polymer with the property of elasticity which, when modified and strengthened by a curing process called vulcanization, is known as a ‘thermoset elastomer’. Each of the monomers which link to form the polymer is usually made of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and/or silicon.

How many types of rubber are there?

There are two main types of rubber, natural and synthetic. The former is made from the latex derived ‘naturally’ from the rubber tree, while the latter is synthesized from chemicals sourced from petroleum refining.

What are differences between Rubber and Plastic?

What are differences between Rubber and Plastic?Rubber vs. PlasticIt is quite easyto differentiate between the two. By simply looking at each material, one canimmediately tell that a particular thing, or object, is made of rubber and notplastic, or vice versa. The only confusion between the two is when the termpolymer is used. Polymer as a term that greatly denotes plastics, butnonetheless, this term also describes the characteristic of rubbers. Althoughrubber is more of the specific elastomer (a viscous or elastic variation ofpolymers), it is still considered to be a polymer. Both plastics andrubbers are classified in many different manners. In fact, for plastics alonethere are more than 10,000 different types. Some are grouped according to type, quality, design or to the material(s) used to make the rubber or plastic. Thisis why both materials have become very diverse in terms of their usage.Plastics are used in almost every aspect, like clothing, food, beverages, construction and many others. Its major classes are the more commonthermoplastics (plastics that will melt when enough heat is applied) and thethermosets (can only melt or take form once, because they remain solid afterthey have been solidified). Rubbers are more commonly used in vehicletires, industrial purposes and specific shoe sole, etc.It is alsoimportant to denote that it was around the year 1976 when plastic become widelyused around the world. Plastics are basically made from natural gas andpetroleum. Both of these raw materials are nonrenewable. Hence, recyclingplastics is the immediate solution to the growing demand for the said material. On the contrary, rubber can be either synthetic or natural. Synthetic means that the rubber ismade from crude oil, which also happens to be another nonrenewable resource.Nevertheless, the other type (natural rubber) can be harnessed from trees (i.e.rubber tree), in which a substance (latex) is then extracted.Although both arepolymers, plastic and rubber differ because:1. Rubber can beconsidered elastomers, and that’s why when compared to plastics, they arenaturally more elastic.2. Syntheticrubber is derived from crude oil, whereas synthetic plastic is made ofpetroleum and natural gas.
